Word got out at my kids’ school that I was a graphic designer. The result: 5 years of in-kind yearbook cover designs for Wilshire Park Elementary.

I also had the opportunity to design logos and t-shirts for clubs, trips, sports events and playground features.

I had the privilege of rebranding a beautiful vacation rental property in the Northwoods called the Tettegouche Lodge on the Baptism River in Silver Bay (formerly the Baptism River Inn).

2020 & 2021 will be remembered by many people as a difficult couple of years full of fear, confusion, and isolation. While working full time and taking care of my family, living on top of each other during a pandemic, the Twin Cities Mural Ride idea came to me as a means to emotionally survive. I needed space to take care of myself, and I found it on my motorcycles. With nowhere to go and nothing to do, having a destination for each ride became an exciting treasure hunt. It was an adventure to go in search of art in my community, bringing awareness to our vibrant visual environment, and to the artists who create it.

I created a poster of found art for each year of riding and exploring during the pandemic. It’s incredible how many murals there are in the Twin Cities.
